Become an Influencer
Becoming an influencer in you community is easier than you think. However, it takes persistence.
In order to do this you must communicate your expertise and thoughts. You can achieve this on your website, blog, landing pages and social media. It is helpful to direct and connect this with events of local news or activities. Consider making a short 1 or 2 minute video giving your expertise on a newsworthy event where your perspective could be valued . You could release this on Twitter or other social networks and even go so far as to send it to the media eg local papers or journalists. Eventually they will come to you to ask for your comments and may even interview you. You may benefit from getting web links to your site from valuable local sites.
This strategy has the potential to revolutionise your practice / use it carefully!
An alternative to this strategy is to use other, established influencers eg. On Instagram and contact them to collaborate in getting your message/story/promo across. Instagram is a really powerful platform and will increase in importance. It is owned by Facebook. As far as I know it is not really used ( at all ) by UK lawyers!
